I have found the replacement part online for around $40, but why would I need to remove the whole filter housing to change the heater? I have already had the plate out of mine, just two screws. The o-rings and drain valve have already been changed a few years ago. The heater unplugs inside the housing if you unplug it outside i think you loose the water sensor? It looks like the replacement part is a different design, maybe last longer?
