Generally, I use "Corn-Husker's Lotion" before I go out to do any heavy hand-work..they don't blister and grease washes off easier..
Now, for Cracked Hands, use "Snow Seal" for Leather Boots.. It will make your Leather boots last a Lifetime and soften and water-proof your hands but GOOD.. If the Hands are really bad, rub the Snow Seal on your hands and slip a pair of latex gloves on for a while..even put your hands in warm water, while they are soaking in the Sno-Seal.. Some stores have about the same product but use another name.. Snow-Seal has Bees Wax and Lanolin in it.. When treating your Boots, use a hair dryer and warm them until they cannot soak up any more, let them cool well and rub the excess off..
