I recently acquired a 1958 DB 600 with the Wisconsin 6 hp engine. I have been using the tractor with the single plow implement. The tractor will move forward with the hand clutch in the 'down' position, but will stop under what I consider to be a light load. It will only power through if I apply downward pressure to the clutch handle. Is this how the tractor is supposed to act? I have never owned or operated one of these, but I can't help but think that something maybe wrong with the clutch. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
