What kinda beans? I LOVE soupy beans especially either Navy or Great Northern (taste the same to me), or Pinto's with a big fat piece of pork jowl in it, simmered for about half a day, with slices of sweet onions, Jalapeno peppers, cornbread and a big slab of butter....beverage of choice.
When I get going on a pot of them I eat till my sides hurt and eat a half bowl more just to ensure that I was full, not just a figment of my imagination.
Ha! Great Northern's just happen to be soaking tonight for tomorrows supper. Envious????? Grin
