We have State farm here too and they have always been fair at least to me in my limited dealings with them. We are currently still working on settling out on the damage froma hail storm in August, I am the one drawing it out not them. Their origional estimate was kind of the bottom one at about $20k. After getting and submitting bids they paid up the price for everything, even if the bid was higher, so far, even though we are about at $40k now and haven't done the deck or 2 shed roofs yet.
