My Menards is only 3 miles away. They have 3 or more people in each department. Very friendly and very helpful. Employees have been there for years. I go to Menards 3 or 4 times a week. Lowes is 10 miles away and most of the time you can't find anyone and if you do, they don't know anything. I dislike going to Home depot and Lowes when I'm in Florida. Wish they had a Menards there.
I have 2 super wally worlds to go to, each about 10 miles away. Go there weekly and they too are very helpful, friendly and no problems like you describe checking out. Must be, they are just happy to see me. George
