I have 2 similar sized rooms that I keep above freezing with a very small WALL propane heater. Has a pilot and ignitor; there is a low and high setting. One has a variable control on the gas valve. The one (bathroom) in the shop I set on low and then leave the door stand open about 8" because the room is very well insulated in well insulated shop. The other is in the "pump house" the room where the pressure tank and manifold to route water to the various buildings. Not as well insulated (2-3 inches of spray on insulation), set the heater on high and the room never gets over 50 degrees.
