Be sure you know how the security filing system works in your state. In Washington, seller or party providing financing files with the Secretary of State, under the Uniform Commercial Code. Filings can be checked on line now, so not as burdensome (and impractical) as it used to be. Bottom line is, if the rig is financed and the proper filings have been made, you not only get the Kubota for 12 grand, you get the rest of debt owed as well.
