The Fehr operation is not far away and one day I happened to be in that area for another reason so stopped in. At that time it was a family run operation which I assume hasn't changed. The owner/father spent time showing me around and everywhere I looked the employees appeared to be unstressed, and content. Believe most are relatives. I thought they were doing a very good job laying out the patterns and cutting accurately. Bought a complete cab kit for the IH 1480 combine and am well satisfied with the fit. But not going to knock K&M. Somewhat later I wanted a kit for an IH tractor that no one carried. K&M was interested in supplying that particular kit and would provide one free if I provided them dimensioned drawings. Required a bunch of time/effort, a lot more than I anticipated. Would only do again if absolutely necessary which in this case it was. I sent the drawings which they reviewed and were able to use after resolving some minor issues. A couple of days later a full kit showed at the door. Therefore would give a "thumbs up" to both companies.
