I use a sump pump with 40mm (1.5") fire hose on the outlet. It runs water out the end, doing what I want, but it is not easy to move, or direct after placement in a straight line to the discharge point. Sump pumps can handle a 2m head OK, but really perform best when at zero head. I would recommend commercial grade 19mm (3/4") hose (rubber is great as is silicon based coverings) Find some surplus and love it. Jim
