One winter when my gray water line froze and the sump pit backed up. I replaced my discharged pipe with three put together shop-vac (1 1/4" ? 1 1/2") plastic hoses run out the drier vent opening on a descending-ly placed plank (so's the hose'd properly drain) after the dryer hose been removed. The dryer vent's heat better served used in the basement that winter. The whole change over worked well what was left of that winter. Fernan
