My dad stopped using his cream separator in about 1958 and it had been in storage since that time. The stainless steel parts had been cleaned but not reassembled. The discs were mixed and I had to assemble the entire spindle. it has several pounds of stainless steel that may be of some value as salvage but hopefully it can be put in a museum somewhere, He bought it in the late 40's and is a crank model. The electric motor attachment was more money and he thought he could do a lot of cranking for the difference. my dad paid $100 but it was sold as a clearance item as cream separators were not selling well by that time.i think the electric model was about $60 more.
