I confused too, as you said you did allot of research before buying. I would not have took it even if I had to order sight unseen for the reasons you mentioned. Probably too late now. I would still make sure them tires are rated for the loads the trailer is rated for. I had a problem with my fifth wheel camper. Come to find out the tires the manufacture put on it were rated for less weight than the camper actually weighed.
