Every fall right before snow flies, I go around and pick up any tools I don't want left out for the winter. I always pick up my maul and sledge hammer from my wood area, were I have logs delivered. Well I got 2 truck loads of logs in febuary. All nice straight ash, red maple, cherry and some sugar maple, alot of small diameter logs. Well I can split most of it by hand faster than on my wood splitter, i looked all over this place for my maul, barn, garage, basement, woodshed, and lawn shed. And looked again,, Couldent find it anywhere! Even in the wood lot as we had no snow to bury it. Today I decided to pitch the foot of loose hay out of the box of my Dakota, wouldn't you know it low and behold there was my trusty maul, along with a pry bar I lost once found and lost again under the hay. I knew I dident leave the maul outside,,, just don't remember putting it in my truck. Lol
