High Point firearms aren't all that bad. A lot of "purists" view them with disdain because of the low price, but I have a 9mm pistol, .45ACP pistol, and a 9mm carbine.
They've all been functionally flawless.
Someone mentioned the investment factor. I'm not going to say in print how many firearms I own, but I can go down the list and not one is worth less today than when I acquired it, some selling now for 2-3 times what I paid.
