Clean the rad. Last year I had that problem with a Deere I bought. Took me three hours of washing and blowing to finally get all the dirt out of the rad. I hit it from the front with a low powered pressure washer and blew the water back out from the back. Did that until I was finally blowing clear water back out of the fins from every square inch of rad. You should have seen the mud on the shop floor under the tractor when I was done! It runs cool now. Jim

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
