My wife keeps bugging me about getting a motor home. I don't like the idea, I would rather stay home, and work on my tracors. She says we never go anywhere, and we are getting older, which is right. So I have been looking at older motor homes. I found several around 1990,Flair brand coaches for around 4,000.00. The two I saw advertised, were around 50,000 mi.They are built on a ford F 350 chassis. They must have the 460 motor. from my experience with a pickup that had a 460 I can expect around 8-9 gpm, maybe a bit more. How do the ford transmissions hold up in these things which are fairly heavy. Anyone have one of these things on a ford 350 chassis? What about the flair, by fleetwood? Stan
