Bill Shuart said: (quoted from post at 14:44:17 04/17/12) I have a mod 2001 loader in need of help. I need a seal kit forthe bucket tilt cylinder (cyl. part # 380447-R1)cylinder is discontinued, no info from Case IH. It seems that once an item is discontinued it's history is no longer needed.
If anyone has the seal kit number or a cross ref number or a kit itself please let me know'
Thanks Bill
380 447 R1 is a "Head, Front" for the cylinder, and probably has been discontinued.
The complete cylinder assembly is 380 818 R91. Book says it's 3.5 X 16.
The book shows 471 271 R91 is a "Package, Hyd. Cyl. Service". It contains:
1 of 350 818 R1 O-ring
1 of 354 836 R1 O-ring
1 of 364 885 R1 O-ring
1 of 378 735 R1 O-ring
1 of 380 910 R1 O-ring
2 of 380 913 R1 Ring
1 of 381 086 R1 Seal
2 of 378 734 R1 Washer
1 of 380 912 R1 Washer
1 of 652 604 R91 Wiper
The kit is no longer available from CIH according to Messicks' website. It appears that the parts from the kit can still be ordered individually. Some of the numbers have changed.
2001 loader is in books LDR-1 or IND-3. Tell the dealer to dust off their microfiche cards or find a parts book. If they won't do either, find a dealer who will.

He farms around a hundred and fifty acres of arable land, in a village called Southam, located just outside Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. The soil is a rich dark brown and is well looked after. unlike some areas in the midlands it is also fairly flat, broken only by hedgerows and the occasional valley and brook.
