I guess he forgot to wear his dishwashing, I mean high voltage dishwashing gloves. I have worked for railroads where sometimes you find the gloves ,sometimes you find the gloves and hacksaw ,sometimes you find the gloves ,hacksaw and dead guy. In theiving school [which I guess is prison ] they really need to go have a lesson on high voltage electricity. I knew a guy who blew his thumb off just by tossing an extension cord in a 250 yard. It went up too high and caused an arc between line and the earth down the cord. You really aren't even allowed to carry anything above shoulder height.If you don't ground metal you will get 1500 volt static shocks all day long. Finds the pinholes in your gloves. This is with no power on the bus you are working but just static from the rest of the yard that is still hot.Have fun with the stealing wire .
