I have a 8N-B 1952 with a Freeman trip front Bucket that I have used Suceefully for 15 yrs. It will handle around 600#, does not upset the balance or stearing of the tractor. It utilizes the FORD internal Hyd pump. Hyd fluid is tapped at the Hyd test plug and is run to the twin cylinders with the vertical motion controlled by the three point hitch lever. Steel brackets were made to utilize the internal pump by Freeman (& FORD)which hold the hitch in a fixed position. I have seen this done many times. Bucket is triped by a leaver on the loader frame ( CABLE). Bucket is reset/ locked by lowering it to the ground. WORKS VERY AND CAN BE FOUND FOR ABOUT $300.00 Simple,reliable,and handy.
