My wife passed on the 10th of this month. We started hospice early. She was able to get to know her nurse, and become friends. Same with the home health aid. Made her last week much easier since she knew and had become friends with the ladies that helped her at the end. My wife's passing came quickly, with a decline over just about a week. The months leading up were pain free, and she was very happy thanks to hospice.
