Has purchased an electric brake controller in the past 6 months or so and what brand did you get? It seems that there are so many new models out there, that's why I'm not interested in the old stuff. I have an old Tekonsha and it's been acting a little strange lately. Been thinking of buying a Tekonsha Primus IQ TE90160. Like the idea it's self leveling, has a digital readout instead of the LED, has a life time guarantee, and only costs around $80. I only have 2 axles, so I don't need the bigger ones.
Does anyone have an opinion on this model? I like the digital readout because I pull 2 different trailers and the loads very a lot. Smoked the tires on one trailer today. Just dumped the load and forgot to reset the brakes. With an LED, resetting brake level is a guessing game, either too much brakes or not enough. Just have to try and readjust.
