Had a couple pairs of Redwings. First were great boots. For a while. Then the fancy "safety toe" (not steel) curled down like a knife edge into the top of my toes. NOT impressed. Pair I have how seem like decent boots, accept my feet hurt like a &$*#@! after about 4 hours. Doesn't matter if I am on contrete in the shop or out in the dirt. My favorite Boots are Hathorn "Northwest", made by Whites Boots. Had a couple pairs. Infact the current Redwings were purchased when I had to send my Hathorns off to be re-soled. Handmade in Spokane Washington!
