I kept suggesting a brush hog mower would work a lot better for him.
He said no, no. And kept replacing the 2 vee belts he'd burn up every other mowing; and the 2 spindles a year he'd burn up.
His deal, so whatever he wants to do, tho is was troubling to me. :)
One time I finally got the conversation far enough along, that he prefered the finishing mower because the vee belt would burn - he didn't want to wreck his tractor pto with a belt-less brush hog whwn he hit something......
So I pointed out the swinging blades on a brush hog, so it wouldn't wreck he tractor?
Oh, oh, he never knew the blades were free swinging.....
Oy.
Anyhow, the results are not pretty, it beats the living daylights out of a finish mower, not a good thing for long term.
