Tire prices have gone through the roof regardless of what they are for. I've been pricing P295/75-R22.5's for my service truck over the past few weeks. The best price I've got is $358 apiece, and that's for a decent name brand compared to some of the "better" name brands which are upwards of $500 each. I've got one steer tire that's still around 75%, and one that's got uneven wear on it because I can't keep the alignment perfect due to going off road as much as I do. So, I looked into some good, used takeoffs. I found some but the asking price on them was around $275 each. Even retreads are high. I had to give $295 for a retread a few months back when I blew a tire on the side of the road 100 miles from home. I 'bout choked when they priced a retread that high.........
Good luck with your situation, I thought the ones I am having to buy were high priced.....
