We had 25 people for lunch on the patio today. I live in Omaha, 1/2 block from a busy intersection-California and Saddle Creek. A clean dressed, well groomed 30 something male came up to my fence and asked for money from some of the others. They refused, so he asked to talk to the homeowner-ME! Sad story, he needed fuel, forgot his wallet at his office, could I give him $5, and within 45 minutes he would bring me $15! I told him I had a 5 gallon can of fuel in my garage, and if he brought the car here, I would put it in for him! (I know, worth more than he asked for, but calling his bluff!) Suddenly he was concerned that the gas was old, would it damage his brand new VW? I told him sorry, can't help you then, and walked away! That seems to me to be more work than working!
