A long time ago someone told me to make a copy of the back of all the credit/medical cards in my wallet. Thats where the please call if you have lost or had your card stolen info is. Through verifying your DOB, SOS # etc you can get your account info so do not copy the front. Then store the copies in your safe, filing cabinet, etc. At the time I said, ha, thats a waste of time. A few months later I had my wallet stolen and was cursing myself for not doing it. I couldn't even remember exactly what cards I had in there!
I was once mowing a field with a 5 ft brush mower and hit an underground hornet's nest. They waited until my next pass around and got me good. It was a hot day, had my shirt off and shorts on. Taught my young and dumb self a lesson that day. Hope today is better for you.
