Couple of ways, don't water at night/evening, plant in direct sun, use drip irrigation. These should all help. If not try 4 teaspoons of baking soda to a gallon of water and you can add 2 teaspons of dish soap or veggie oil as well. Neem works good so doesnt a mix of 10% milk to 90% water. Prevention - spray once a week. I used milk last year to see how it would work and it did great on my butternut squash. Not so hot though on zucchini and summer squash. I used the Neem on there and it did better.
