Here in central New York -we've got many more than I've ever seen before. The news blames it on a decline in a certain species of mice. Nonsense or not, we've got deer ticks all over the place this year. Picked off over a dozen from our 8 year old boy this past few weeks, and many from my wife's butt and from my dog. For some reason, I've never had one land on me. I'm too sour or unpleasant, I guess -even for the ticks. There's always the big "scare" of Lymes Disease. What the experts often do not mention is there is NO sure test for it.
