ii should have worded this different , im not looking for a 1 pass tool, what ive been doing is discing a couple passes until the disc is axle deep, then using a 6 foot landscape rake making a couple of passes, to break up as much as possible, then i use a home made harrow, which is made about 12 feet wide, with 1 inch rebar welded to the bottom of 90 lb railroad track every 3 inches to finish, i lift the disc out when i turn, but the thing is just old, not sure how old as we bought it at a auction many years ago but i figure 50's 60's or so, what i would like to make is a tool that has closer spacing than a disc does to make the primary passes, im also wondering about using rock crusher screen about 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch which i have access to at work welding it into a roller to roll behind the harrow to break up the clods even finer,but i still have some clods around 3 to 4 inches, they will break up if it rains, but it doesn't rain here anymore it seems , just wondering if anybody has built something like that , looking for ideas ect,
