I gotta say milk helps the garden. I had very good luck using it against powdery mildew last year on my butternut squash and fairly good luck on zucchini and summer squash. I used 10% milk to 90% water. The other good part is it doesn't hurt anything but I never thought of adding powedered milk for tomoatoes but it totally makes sense. I haven't had a problem with this, yet, but I wonder if spraying the plant with the powdery mildew milk mixture would have a positive affect.
