I would get the code scanner out and see what's up first. I also would google this problem and see if there's a lot of folks talking about this. I find that there's usually a common problem that people are dealing with.
I have a 2006 Impala with 91K on it and just did pads/rotors all around. My son in law is a GM mechanic at the local Chevy dealer and he did the work and saved me about $400.00 after his parts discount.
