just remember ( I know from experience)if your smoking youll have to keep it out of the wind to keep heat anywhere near even.Either leave the wheels on so you can move it out of the wind,or build it in with a windbreak that moves, maybe on a swivel so you can block the wind. thats the reason all buisnesses and old farmsteads have smoke houses. you can grill on it with direct heat ,but when you build a fire in the firebox to slow smoke something youll soon see what i mean.
