redtom, Our first planting of radishes (German Giant) didn't fair so well this year, this is the second go at em. They will be bigger,but had to thin a few of em out to make room for the smaller ones to grow.So far for the brocc, we didn't have to use any kind of bug killer, so we're kind of glad for that.I didn't think we would have apples after the cold snap this spring,but they sure took off and are looking good, a couple more weeks and the tree will be sprayed for worms and scab control.We even get to use our new apple picker with a 16ft extension pole, won't bruise em, and will make a great pie's. We had a few years where not much has grown, but we keep on keepin on, so don't give up. It tastes better fresh from the garden and no money or wasted trips to the grocery store for substandard produce. Regards, LOU & Victor
