The power companys will not take down a tree on the wires even if you ask them to. Last year they went around to check for problem trees, when trimming time came they parked a truck in my yard for a day and dissapered. tree still on transformer still standing, because it was on meter side of pole said they could not do anything but nobody can do anything to take down because of transformer and live wires to it.
