Austin is a wonderful place! Ive been there a few times, and really like it. Idk about tractor related places, but the food there is awesome. I really like Maudie's and Chuy's, not sure if they're chains or local or what tho. Rudy's is pretty good too, and im sure there are other places that are worth going back for.
If you wanna go souvenir shopping, Cavanders is great, its all western wear, and aside from all the boots and jeans and shirts, they've got plenty of tee shirts and hats and things that would make mean souvenirs, but be careful, its easy to spend a lot of money in that place.
