Now I am totaly confused. Are the 7 tractors going to Alaska, or is that a YT joke? Where in Alaska? A load of equipment going to central parts should take the eastern roads yeah. There is still flooding, rock slides and landslides all thru the BC mountain roads today, nevermind in May. And some of the 'yellowhead to Yukon' roads are tough going and slow compare to the Alaska highway, kinda 'local traffic only'? To drive a motor home from Edmonton to Prince Rupert and take the inland ferry to Alaskan ports would be nearly dead flat compare to others. Seems that the yellowhead is the flatest route over the continental divide between there and route 10 along the Mexican border. And I love every inch of it.
