Ive got a old black cat thats hung around here for years. i found her as a kitten when i was roto tilling the garden and she barely had her eyes open, never did figure out how she got there. my boy and his bunch was needing a place to stay until he found a place when he moved back from the east coast,so he stayed with us and they had a worthless dog. honestly, that cat disappeared and i never even saw her for over a year.they moved out a few weeks ago and picked up their dog,and the cat showed up on the front porch the evening that dog left. she must have been hiding somewhere around here but i never saw her,and how she knew that dog was gone I've never figured out.doesnt act in the least wild, like you would expect of one living on her own,but if my boys car pulls up in the yard she'll disappear until shes sure the dogs not with them.then she'll come out wanting the grandaughters to pet her.
