Thats quite a bit higher than here or was here, hay was going for $150/ton, and from the 15 bale loads I weighed out on the scale with, on the old DM Mack, I usually had 5 ton and change, $780-$800 per load, just over $50-$52 per bale and I figure there were the equivalent of 15-17 small squares in each round bale and if so, price was $3.00-$3.50/bale average, or give or take- in that range if small squares were 40-50 lbs, just some estimated numbers, I have not hauled any hay since '09 though either.
