Yes it makes the global warming people look foolish, understand they don't care if they look foolish. Global warming supporters are not about reason or science the whole global warming tactic is to berate you into believing what they feel is the truth. The approach is not a reasoned and informed conversation supported by scientific observations. Repeatability is not something that they worry about and if you bring it up you'll be berated, called stupid and be attacked in any manner they feel will gain them an advantage or power over your life.
