Yes! We got a couple of cells that snuck by the weather forecasters. The first one was a lot of rumble but just a sprinkle. The second dumped over 1.5" and yesterday morning, morning after the rain, I checked my hay patch and I could detect mud at least 4" down.
If that's not enough, I got a cold front in here this morning and opened the house up for some fresh air.
This is not fair. This is a tease! Fall is at least a month away! Dangit.
But we have a tropical storm in the Gulf that has the kind of trajectory that will put it coming ashore in TX. and even though it's only a TS, by the time it gets in the gulf and sucks up some hot, humid air, it will "do it's thing". Yes!
Looks like Oklahoma is getting some relief also. Shoot, if those folks aren't in a drought, they have fires, or they have tornado's or torrential rains......geez.
