We have always been a fairly close family. When we were younger, mom and dad took us all camping. As I got older, dad and I never really "hung" out too much and never really talked much. Now that I have this interest in tractors and restoring them, we talk a lot more. Even though it is mainly about tractors, we talk.
You are right, there needs to be a lot more of it and I feel that is part of the problems with society today.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
