I recall hearing about Phyliss Diller but in general my lifes not affected much by what goes on in Hollywood land and they probably dont worry about me much either I suspect lol. I felt more of a loss when Bob Hope passed, now there was a true American patriot in my opinion.
I kind of identify with the words of an old song (I'm sure some here will know it and the composer)
"Now he lives in the islands, fishes the pylons and drinks his Green Label each day, writing his memoirs loosin his hearing BUT HE DONT CARE WHAT MOST PEOPLE SAY, through 86 years of perpetual motion if he likes you he'll smile and he'll say, Jimmy some of its magic and some of its tragic, BUT ITS BEEN A GOOD LIFE ALL THE WAY"
I dont care much what Hollywood says or does you see but I did respect Bob Hope for all his USO tours, I think he loved this country and our brave troops a lot more then Hanoi Jane Fonda and Rosie O Donnell and Sean Penn and Barbra Streisand.....
