There is plenty of over date food sold and given out at food banks.My daughter had a bottle of salad dressing that was a month over date.She was going to throw it out.I used it.Ive always kept a stash of canned goods,just mark the month and year on the can and rotate the stock.I grew up in the 40s and 50s.Nothing was ever wasted.
