We were in Montevideo Minnesota last weekend, for the Gathering Of The Orange (Allis Chalmers) national get together. They had a nice Case steamer there on the saw mill. By accident, we ate lunch with the owners of it! They had had to rebuild the boiler on theirs, and this was the first time running it. The rebuilder insisted on running it, so he was there. I understand he is the only one in Minnesota qualified to rebuild steam engines. He had just rebuilt the one at Butterfield, and they had a minor problem with it at the show. They called and he told them how to 'band aid' it, so he was going there after our show to repair it permanent! Here is the one from Montevideo.
