No pictures,but I was out checking cattle last night and found a puff ball growing out of the ground that was bigger than the gas tank on my 4 wheeler. Never imagined they grew that big. So big that everybody that's seen it can't even guess what it is.
I thought that was a great find,but then tonight I topped it by finding a new heifer calf. I knew there was one heifer that calved last year that hadn't calved again,and I thought from my count that there should be another cow to calve yet,but couldn't for the life of me figure out which one it was. Figured I just must have counted something wrong somewhere. Guess not. Awful late now to be getting a calf to wean in the fall. Suppose she'll have to stay on mama til mid winter.
