Just had to order a feed roll for a chopper. Called the local NH dealer- and fell over. They want $1545 from NH for the part. Called a local parts yard up in Pennsyltuck, and they have the new, made right up there, for $265. IH came down, Case fell, and now it looks like NH is headed down the same path. Nobody can afford to repair their equipment, so they won't buy it. Had to replace a wear plate yesterday, and a 2 foot long piece of channel iron from CNH $68, and from the local welding shop, $2.50. Of course, I did have to drill 5 holes in it and paint it....
