There is just too big a disparity in education levels on this board to get too excited about grammar and spelling, IMHO. If this was the American Medical Association, that would be one thing- but its a farmer board, and there is no educational requirement for success in that field. And I have a great deal of respect for anyone who can make a living in farming or the trades, regardless of education- its so much easier to just get a guvment (sic) desk job, doing nothing and building up a big pension that the rest of us are paying for. So I just try to figure out what's being said, and if I can contribute, I do.
The only time I have corrected anyone's spelling is when someone's trying to get information on his Kabota or Alice Chamblers or Cockshoot, and my purpose is just to help him get it right for Google. Even so, our German correspondent got his unmentionables in an unbelievable tangle, so I don't even do that anymore (especially after I googled "Kabota", and it said "Do you mean Kubota?" and gave me a zillion hits). So regardless of the selenoids, hydrolics, acers, deisles and bailers, lets just soldier on and try to help when we can. And if the post is completely incomprehensible, just ignore it and move on- the poor guy obviously needs more help than we can give him.
