Where do you go to get new or used parts for a Long tractor these days?? A friend has a Long 445. He needs the three point lift cylinder pressure relief valve. You might call it the thermal relief valve as well. It is the valve that is attached to the three point lift cylinder that prevents over loads and lets the oil escape as it heats up if the cylinder is extended all of the way. Some one remove the old one and made a plug out of a bolt and washers. It leaks. This makes the three point hitch jump up and down.
I know about a Long being a pain to get parts for. I told him that but he always has to have the "best/cheapest" deal. He also had a gray market Kubota that you could not buy parts for in the US. He traded it for this Long. Kind like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.
