Reality TV shows are targeted mainly at people who live their lives vicariously. In other words, people who live off of the drama of other people. It is planned, scripted, edited, etc. I had a guy argue with me that the Repo shows are not scripted. That is the caliber of audience that they thrive on. It does not take much to make these shows, loads of profits and loads of shallow thinking people that believe they are real.
